UPPSC PCS · Study log
One topic a day, written up properly, until the UPPSC PCS exam.
Every concept I learn becomes a post you can use: explained simply, with the UP angle, the facts, previous-year questions, practice MCQs and a mains outline. English first, a full Hindi version of every post.
Study days
One topic a day: read it, explore the map and timeline, then take the quiz.
Where we are headed
I am preparing for the PCS cycle whose prelims fall in or after December 2027. That is most likely PCS 2027, with prelims around October to December 2027, mains about six months later, and the interview after that. The exact dates will come from the Commission's 2027 calendar, expected in late January 2027, and this page will update when they do.
The plan is simple and slightly boring on purpose. The syllabus is broken into 516 small topics across all eight mains papers and both prelims papers. Each day I take one topic, read the standard source with the previous-year questions in front of me, explain it from memory, answer three questions on it, attempt ten MCQs, write a short answer, and only then publish the post. Topics come back for revision after 3, 10, 30 and 90 days.
Nothing here is coaching. It is one person's notes, checked against official sources and cleaned up so that they are useful to someone else. If something is wrong, the post will say when it was corrected.
